Bring your family and friends to enjoy a musical tribute to the Heroes of the Space Coast! The Armed Forces Salute will begin the patriotic tribute to our Veterans and Active Duty Military. The Spirit of Freedom by Tracey Rush will be performed in honor of our Emergency Response Professionals (Police, Fire Fighters & Paramedics), PLUS space exploration pioneers will be recognized paying special tribute to the Apollo missions with recorded audio excerpts played over the famous Also Sprach Zarathustra Fanfare by Richard Strauss, and musical excerpts from the film Apollo 13 - music by James Horner! And course a selection from STAR WARS!

Meet Lite Rock 99.3's Mike & Mindy and visit the Lite Rock Prize Booth to play the Wheel of Prizes. The celebration continues at 9:15 p.m. with a spectacular fireworks display presented by the Cities of Cocoa and Rockledge.
During the fireworks your Brevard Symphony Orchestra will perform many patriotic selections including excerpts from Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and the Stars and Stripes Forever March by John Philip Sousa.

The Brevard Symphony Orchestra, partnering with the Brevard County School Board and through support received from local foundations and businesses, offers a free symphonic concert at the King Center each February for all 5th grade public school students.

This concert is open to private and home school students. A nominal fee per student is collected at the door. Chaperones are free. Advance reservations are necessary.
