Making his first BSO appearance in a decade, Michael Andrew brings his suave, sophisticated style to the King Center stage in this program featuring romantic songs made popular by Frank Sinatra. Songs include “My Funny Valentine,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “New York, New York,” and many others. Michael Andrew was a headliner at the famous Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center in New York City and was also bandleader at Merv Griffin’s Coconut Club in the Beverly Hilton in California. Merv Griffin called Michael “one of the greatest singers of all time.”

In 2012, Michael starred in the world premiere of the new musical The Nutty Professor, composed by Marvin Hamlisch and Rupert Holmes, and directed by Jerry Lewis. Michael’s performance earned rave reviews, with Jerry Lewis calling Michael “one of the best talents to come down the pike in 50 years.”

Michael frequently performs with symphony orchestras all over the country, including orchestras in Houston, Jacksonville, Philadelphia, San Antonio, Orlando, Sarasota, and many others. Bring your sweetheart and let Michael’s romantic style sweep you off your feet.
