DESCRIPTION:About This Concert\nJoin your Brevard Symphony Orchestra this July 4th for our FREE annual Symphony Under the Stars concert at Cocoa Riverfront Park. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket as you enjoy a free concert filled with patriotic favorites. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m.\, with fireworks starting at 9:15 p.m. Food trucks and local restaurants will be open and available before the concert. \nOur emcee again this year is Mindy from Mindy & Company on Lite Rock 99.3! \nAs we get closer to the concert and the day of\, please continually check here on our website\, BSO’s Facebook and Instagram\, and the City of Cocoa Government Facebook page. \nJoin us at our VIP BBQ before the concert! Your VIP ticket includes reserved parking right across the street\, a BBQ dinner inside the Cocoa Civic center\, and reserved concert seating right in front of the stage! Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. VIP tickets start at $65 for season subscribers and $80 for non-subscribers. We would love to see you there! No tickets or registration required\, seating on a first come first serve basis. \n\n\n\n\nIn pre-historic times\, strange creatures walked the planet. These were the ancient ancestors of musical instruments that inspired melodious makers in brass and wood to create the instruments we see in the orchestra today. \nTake a journey into\, “When Instruments Roamed the Earth!®” Filled with laughs\, surprises\, multi-media projection and on-stage action\, any symphony can easily present this perfect all-ages introduction to the exciting sounds\, people\, and experience of a symphony orchestra concert. \n\n\n\n\nHear and see the hilarious “research” of paleo-musicologist\, Sir Humphrey Treble-Clef\, who believes that our modern instruments are actually the descendants of giant\, dinosaur-like creatures like you’ve never seen before.
