We are thrilled to CELEBRATE our 2023-2024 Signature Six Series, along with a few other highlights throughout the year:  

• Sound the Celebration as the BSO kicks off its 70th Anniversary Season with a new work by John Dupuis dedicated to the BSO. Concertmaster Lisa Ferrigno celebrates her 25th Season with the BSO as featured soloist in Sarasate’s fiery Zigeunerweisen and Morricone’s ultra-romantic Cinema Paradiso Theme. • The BSO joyfully celebrates Beethoven’s musical legacy with Bravo Beethoven featuring the Coriolan Overture, Symphony No. 1, and Emperor Concerto, performed by BSO audience favorite, pianist Terrence Wilson! (Bravo Beethoven, November 11, 2023)
• The BSO presents one of the most popular and evocative orchestral showpieces in the repertoire – Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade. To open the concert, dancers from United Ballet Theatre led by Artistic Director Joseph Gatti (known to Brevard audiences for his work with the Space Coast Ballet Company) are featured in dance and symphonic favorites. • Acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Biegel joins the BSO for an unforgettable celebration of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, premiered 100 years ago. This concert of popular favorites also features the Florida Premiere of Rhapsody in Red, White & Blue, a newly composed work by Peter Boyer that pays tribute to the Gershwin sound. • Virtuosity is on display throughout this concert of breathtaking showpieces including Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, a dazzling and picturesque musical trip through an art gallery. We are thrilled to welcome back violinist Paul Huang in a performance of Erich Korngold’s Violin Concerto! This program also features a special performance by the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra, celebrating their 40th anniversary season. (Musical Pictures, March 9, 2024)
• The Brevard Community Chorus, Brevard Chorale, Brevard Youth Chorus, and other area singers join the BSO for the regional premiere of Dan Forrest’s joyful and jubilant Jubilate Deo – a musical celebration sung in seven different languages! (Celebrate!, April 6, 2024)
