Brevard Symphony Orchestra announces new Executive Director, Brevard-native Hadassah Etienne

Melbourne, FL – The Brevard Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is excited to announce Hadassah Etienne as their new Executive Director, effective December 1, 2024. Mrs. Etienne brings a wealth of business knowledge to the BSO.

Hadassah is a Brevard-native. As a child, she was a violinist in the Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra (BSYO). After graduating from Melbourne High School, she enrolled at Florida Tech and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Administration. Hadassah has served as the Executive Assistant with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra since August 2023. “Hadassah has been with the BSO for over a year and has performed brilliantly and proven to be invaluable,” says BSO Board Chair Janet Forrer, “The BSO has certainly benefited from her experience and congratulates Hadassah on her promotion to Executive Director.”

“I am deeply honored to take on the role of Executive Director for the Brevard Symphony Orchestra.” says Hadassah Etienne, “Growing up in this community, I developed a lifelong passion for the arts, and I am excited to contribute to BSO’s rich legacy of bringing world-class music to our region. Together, we will continue to inspire and engage audiences through the transformative power of music.”

Maestro Christopher Confessore, the BSO’s Music Director and Principal Conductor remarks, “I am excited to welcome Hadassah as the BSO’s new Executive Director. I look forward to working with her as the BSO strives to bring the very best in orchestral music to all of Brevard County and beyond.”
