About The Performance
Join violinist Amy Xaychaleune and her band for a night of charm and enchantment as they bring Disney and popular hits to life. Concert is approximately 67 minutes long and has a 15-minute intermission.
About The Musicians
Amy Xaychaleune, leader, violin, arranger
Amy Xaychaleune is a violinist born & raised in Orlando. She received her Master of Music
Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and her Bachelor of Music Performance
from Florida State University. Some past career highlights include performing with Michael
Bublé, Sting, the Evita Broadway Tour, and at The White House. Currently she plays for Brevard
Symphony Orchestra and Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, at Disney World, with several
companies throughout Florida, and for her own company – Sunshine Time Productions.
John Mason III, piano
An Orlando native, John has been involved in music his whole life. He has a BA in Pipe Organ
Performance from Florida State University, and an MA in Choral Conducting from the University
of Central Florida. He has worked as a church organist, musician, and music director for several
local churches, and currently works as the Director of Children’s and Instrumental Music at St
Luke’s UMC. He currently performs in various roles at Disney, including playing piano and keys
on stage in Epcot. He enjoys composing and arranging orchestrations for all instruments. In his
free time, you can find him woodworking and spending time with his wife and two sweet
daughters.
Luis Guerrero, guitar
Luis Guerrero is a guitar player based in Orlando, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in
Jazz Studies from the University of Central Florida. He has over two decades of performing
experience, including theme park entertainment, stadium performances, musical theater,
festivals, orchestras, big bands, corporate events, and more. He has played with big acts like IL
DIVO and Broadway singers such as Mandy Gonzales, Michael James Scott and many more. He
is featured in the Disney+ show Harmonious Live.
Mike Scialabba, drums
Michael Scialabba, a Winter Park High School and University of Florida graduate, boasts over 30
years at Walt Disney World as a musician, show designer, and team leader. A specialist in
themed entertainment, he has contributed to international Disney projects in Tokyo and Paris
and also performed for many years with the Blue Man Group. With a master’s degree in
Organizational Leadership, Michael is the Vice President of the Central Florida Musicians’
Union, AFM Local 389, and a strong advocate for fair working conditions and workers’ rights.
Nathan May, bass
Nathan May is an Orlando-based musician who regularly performs across Florida on electric
bass and double bass. He is a member of many original music ensembles as a bassist with
power-pop band Fast Preacher, soul artist John Lee Wyatt, and modern-folk artist John Dorney.
He is the music director for the jazz-folk songwriter Megan Shea, and composes and releases
his own music under the name Cafetorium. He has performed as a section bassist in the
Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Villages Philharmonic, Gainesville Symphony, and is principal
bass of the Daytona Soloisti Chamber Orchestra.
