As the county’s designated local arts agency, Brevard Cultural Alliance’s (BCA) mission is to build and sustain a vibrant and dynamic arts and cultural sector integral to Brevard County’s quality of life. BCA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our cultural organizations, artists, and proud history of creative expression are a crucial part of Brevard’s identity, vitality, and economic growth. BCA believes in supporting the growth of arts organizations and their audiences, supporting the work of individual artists, working to keep the arts in schools, and empowering arts and cultural organizations to make a difference in our community

The membership program provides a range of services for paid alliance members. Members are individual artists, cultural organizations, businesses, and community members. Art in Public Places is a temporary exhibition program allowing area business and government facilities to display artwork from local artists on an ongoing basis. Exhibitions are curated and installed by BCA on a fee-for-services basis by the host venues. The majority of each art sale goes back to the artist, with a small service fee paid to BCA. All artworks are reviewed and approved by a committee of appointees from county government officials.

Next Generation Artist Residencies pair professional artists with Brevard Public Schools classrooms to develop, create, and complete a project or performance. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, mentoring, and the processing of steps to complete a project. Through these projects, opportunities for cross-curricular integration and development of 21st century skills are paramount. Residencies often focus on enhancing technology literacy and teaching STEM curriculum through arts integration, or STEAM education.

The Cultural Summit a day-long event with workshop topics developed for cultural organizations and artists. A keynote presentation breaks up workshops, inviting elected officials and leaders in our local community to participate, learn, and enjoy alongside the cultural organizations and artists.
