Each February, the BSO performs our annual Fifth Grade concerts for approximately 10,000 fifth graders from Brevard and Indian River Counties. Students work with their music teachers to prepare for this concert designed with them in mind. For many, this is their first-ever orchestra concert!
Our 25-26 Season concert, The Great Orchestra Experiment, science met symphony. Children across Brevard and Indian River counties experienced an interactive concert that engaged with all the senses while listening to the BSO through the lens of science, technology, engineering, and math.
| This year’s children’s concerts are titled The Symphony is All Around You. This program aims to educate and enlighten students about the prevalence of classical music in their everyday lives, whether it be in movies, television, or in their favorite video game. Further, how and why does music affect how we feel? Music is a powerful force, and this concert aims to connect children with the importance of music appreciation with an interactive and educational format. These concerts are free for the students and are made possible through the generosity of donors like yourself. Your gift directly provides orchestral music to the youth in our community. |

Attendance is free for Brevard Public Schools. All other private and homeschool groups are just $4 per person.
After submitting a registration with Minnie Orr, payment can be made online using the form below (this form does not count as registration). A 3.25% fee will be applied to all card payments.
